Description
This is an oil painting of a group of colorful bee eaters. These birds nest along the Nile riverbank by burrowing holes in the bank to build nests. They must lay their eggs and raise their young before the spring river rising. They are called bee eaters because they use their hooked beaks to crush and eat bees.
