Hi Julie, I just noticed this was from Floyd, Va. I was there a couple months ago. That is such a beautiful area. Im taking my brother back up there soon.

The Conner farm is the subject of many photos by photographer Mike Quesinberry. He takes such lovely photos in Floyd and is very generous to let me paint them when I ask. I am going to be guest artist in Floyd with the Floyd Artist Assoc. There will be a reception from 5-8pm on Friday, August 1st. It is such a quaint town off the Blue Ridge Parkway and near Chateau Morrissette Winery.
