About Julie Brugh Riffey
A lifetime resident of Salem, Virginia, (USA) Julie Riffey found her love of art around the age of five. Her talent developed from childhood crayons and pencils to the oil, acrylic, and soft pastel paintings she produces today. Thanks, Jane. I greatly admire your work and value your opinion! Yes, you are probably right about this look. This was a child from a Peruvian tribe that probably didn't see many photographers in her life.

An unusual fashion statement for my part of the world, but that expression of being pleased that someone noticed is very familiar. (Even though I think there is an air of "cool" about it!) Like how you captured that look on this exotic child.
