Graphic design drawings in black and white. It was a work in progress. Pieces/sections were added over a couple of years, in spare time. I had forgotten about it and it was in a folder when I found the unfinished drawing. The title comes from the fact that the drawing was just what my mind came up with on the spur of the moment.
A lifetime resident of Salem, Virginia, (USA) Julie Riffey found her love of art around the age of five. Her talent developed from childhood crayons and pencils to the oil, acrylic, and soft pastel paintings she produces today. She has an Associate Degree in Fine Art from Virginia Western College and in the past, has taught children's art classes for 7 to 10 year olds. The enjoyment of seeing artistic talent evolve in children is unparalleled. She hopes that she instilled a love of art in those children for a lifetime. Julie uses a variety of mediums: oil, acrylic, soft chalk pastel and pencil. She paints or draws landscapes, birds, animals, and portraits- all in the realistic style.
